How to join a clan or expand your existing clan in RA2 or YR

Have you ever ran into trouble joining a clan or expanding your existing clan in Red Alert 2 or its expansion Yuri's Revenge? This walkthrough will help.

To join a clan...

1. You need to receive an invitation from the leader of that particular clan. Ask the leader if you can join, and he/she will arrange whatever is neccessary to join that clan. Some leaders will do a "qualification exam" to ensure you are sufficiently skilled to beat those other clans.
2. After you receive the invitation password (it is a good idea to write this down as you can't copy it from the game), visit http://xwis.net/xwi/?a=join, enter your username, your user's password, and the invitation password you received earlier.

You can also expand your own clan if you lead one.

1. Simply wait for players who request to join your clan.
   - OR -
   Advertise your clan.
2. After you receive requests, you can accept or decline them. If you accept them, you need to invite the new member(s) to your clan. Visit http://xwis.net/xwi/?a=invite and enter the username to invite and your administration password.
3. You will receive an invitation password (it is a good idea to write this down as you can't copy it to the game). Give this password to the new member. The password only lasts a few days.
4. Wait for the new member to join with the select password. Redirect him/her to this sticky topic if he/she has trouble.
